Mark Zaki is a musician with a rather diverse and eclectic career that encompasses composition, performance, media technology and the digital arts. As a composer, he writes chamber music, electroacoustic music and music for film. There's also a strong interest in visual music and computer generated art and video.

He’s an active performer and one can often find him behind a violin (or a viola, or sometimes guitar). He performs both as a modern player and as a historically-informed one (that is, on period instruments).

Striving to maintain balance and geographical desirability, Mark lives outside NYC with one wife, two daughters, three cats, one dog, and a considerable amount of software.
